I am transcribing what Sri SPB spoke at the start and end of the song. Singing along with him for Vanisri (my wife) is a great honor and receiving the comments from the GAANA GANDHARVA like this was the greatest moment in our lives.

Ladies & Gentleman, I am taking liberty in inviting Smt. Vanisri Vishwa on to the dias. Are you there M'am? If you are there please come fast. I heard her the other day when she came to our hotel & really I found such lovely singing in her & though I am not in the habit of asking somebody else to come & join us on the stage not for any other particular reason. Because in every city there will be so many aspiring singers who would love to sing. And if I go on giving them an opportunity to sing sometimes the local people feel that we have been listening to them quite often, you just want to take rest and give them an opportunity to sing. So I said actually to everybody, I stomped & said Period, we will present the show whoever has come along with us from Chennai.


But after listening to her, I thought I should have the privilege of singing along with her .. (Vanisri seeks SPB's blessings by touching his feet) .. GOD Bless You Maa .. GOD Bless You .. GOD Bless You !!! I cannot do that for 2 reasons: 1. You are younger to me in age. 2. Even if you are an elder, I cannot bend myself.(Audience burst out into a laughter) I bent the rules today, I bent the principles for a while today, so that I will have an opportunity to sing along with you because I don't know when this "Malli ee Roju eppudosthundo naaku theliyadu" (I don't know when this day comes again), "Meeku Theliyadu" (You (Vanisri) also don't know), "Bhagavanthudike theliyali" (GOD only knows). Andukani (that is why) .... and starts off the song

"Malli Malli Idi Raani Roju .." from Telugu blockbuster Rakshasudu composed by the genius Ilaiyaraja.

This is what Sri SPB said after completing the song. GOD Bless you!!!OK amma Thank You. It is not that easy to get acclimatized with a a new song which in the morning I have asked her to sing & my flautist send it by internet to her. We had a rehearsal offcourse, she could write the lyrics later and come and flawless singing & that's what I appreciate.
